Applications for the award were submitted by ingredient suppliers or technology providers with scientifically supported innovations or ingredient technology. A panel of judges comprised of R&D and product development professionals from leading cosmetic/personal care manufacturing companies evaluated the submissions on science/research methods, science breakthrough, innovation and appeal for the manufacturing community.
